What is Doomscroll?
Doomscroll is an AI content strategist for short-form video. It researches the public TikTok and Instagram videos a brand’s audiences already watch, breaks down the creative choices inside them, and writes original scripts a brand can film.
Do I need to connect my TikTok or Instagram account?
No. Doomscroll never asks for a social password, never copies session cookies and never posts or acts inside your account. All research runs server-side against public content.
What do I have to give it to start?
A brand website or a short description. Doomscroll reads the site, proposes the audiences it thinks you could reach, and asks you to confirm the direction before any research begins.
What is actually in a finished script?
A single committed hook, the word-for-word spoken or on-screen lines, an opening visual, a shot list, editing notes and a call to action — plus the source video it was adapted from and the reasoning for what was borrowed.
Does Doomscroll guarantee my video will go viral?
No, and it will not claim to. A source video’s view count is evidence that one finished post earned attention; it does not prove which choice caused that, or that an adaptation will repeat it. Every script is framed as a test with one variable to measure.
Which platforms does it research?
TikTok and Instagram. A workspace is fixed to one platform when it is created so a run cannot drift between networks mid-research.
Can I steer the research while it runs?
Yes. You can send a new direction — a different audience, format or topic to avoid — at any point. The agent keeps the brand context and evidence it has already gathered and re-plans from there.
How do I get access?
Doomscroll is in private beta. You can sign up with an email address and run your first three scripts, then share feedback to keep exploring. Your existing work stays saved either way.
